 Kwa kipindi cha miaka kadhaa BET Awards imekuw aikitoa tunzo kwa wanamuziki wa afrika  mapema tena backstage au wakati mwingine muda mfupi kabla ya show kuanza.

mwaka huu kijana wa Ghana , ambae ni wa miondoko ya  dancehall ajulikanae kwa jina la Stonebwoy alishinda tunzo ya‘Best International Act Africa’ award na watu kadhaa wakawa wameongea kuhusu ukweli wa BET kutowathamini wanamuziki na kazi zao kwa kile kinachodaiwa kuwapa tunzo wakiwa backstage au kabla ya tamasha husika  kuanza.

Stonebwoy alikuwa amechaguliwa pamoja na Sarkodie, wa South Africa AKA na The Soil, mwanamuziki wa kongo  Fally Ipupa, kundi kutoka nchni Kenya la Afro-Pop band maarufu kama Sauti Sol, wanamuziki wawili wa nigerian, Wizkid na Yemi Alade.

Dencia na Fuse ODG akaelezea hisia zake kwanini hakwenda kwenye  BET’s kupitia mitandao ya kijamii kama inavyosomeka hapo chini.

If the Oscars did the same thing all I’ll hear is racism..now take ur remaining data and help ur brethren (when they show u the awards in Africa it is edited to look like it was given in front of everyone)
